I didn't watch the video, as it was 30-60 minutes long on youtube, but there was one with a headlines that seem to suggest they interviewed TE Finley and he believed it's hard to make a huge impact as a rookie TE, because there is so much to learn. Of course, it should be noted, Finley wasn't noted to be the most studious either, as he continues to complain why Rodgers wanted him to practice so seriously.
Also, I finally saw some video of Musgrave blocking in college, and I was extremely surprised... for multiple reasons.
1) That boy GOT LOW! It looked like a Center doing a short yardage goalline dive, making sure no body ever gets lower than him, he was winning the leverage battle.
2) Despite that, and seemingly relatively very good initial technique... HE STILL LOST and quickly ... as he couldn't or didn't stay in the block long. He stops the first push, but after that it was basically over, as his feet was still.
So at least on that one play, he's got great initial form (though most don't get that low except in goalline or when tight and run blocking), I should mention this was pass protection.... but needs to improve footwork with blocking but I'd say that's a better starting point than most college receiving TEs as it seems blocking isn't really taught to college TEs anymore.
Also, I haven't checked in a good while, but I believe TE Davis was getting similar blocking grades to TE Lewis.
