A team may not use the relatively new practice-squad elevation option to line up an emergency quarterback.

So I would think that would mean that the third QB on the Packers would be a practice squad guy and not on the 53, the Packers most likely would not have a 3rd QB to insert into a game anyways. I don't see them carrying 3 QBs on the 53 man roster.

If Love were to get hurt and the back up gets hurt, then a WR or RB would probably have to take the snaps to end the game and they would have to look at elevating the practice squad QB or sign someone else if the injury was serious.
