The main injury which knocked him out of last season was a Lisfranc in his foot. I almost wonder if there wasn't some hairline fracture or something percolating in there even during last year's camp that he was just powering through - maybe not enough to really cause pain or to alert the trainers/medical staff, but enough to affect his play?

I mean, it's pretty doubtful, but...?
