If that's the truth, that makes sense...

But that legal team was working for whom? A pathological lier whom was lying to his own employees, fans and other owners and allegedly has committed federal fraud by illegally taking loans out on his own team (which was the final straw for the other owner to finally decide to try to force him to sell).

And these loans were partly to make sure he could pay himself, despite being officially suspended by Goodell for potentially other illegal activities which the NFL buried.


Rumors from a decade or so prior to name change said Snyder would never change the name, and if he ever did, that it would be named after the Military. And more recent rumors suggested Snyder would name it after the Military or his favorite recent 2016 Republican US President (you know the Commander and Chief)...



So if those lawyers statements are true, that's great logic... but are they true? Or is it simply a another lie coverup for the fact the guy that pays their checks wanted to reject all nicknames other than the one he wanted.


Sorry, as someone whom grew up in an area that was supposed to be Hog Country (Hogs being the nickname of Redskins fans and a certain OL from their past)... I have learned to NEVER trust Dan Snyder. He has NEVER seemed to do ANYTHING correct...

Snyder hasn't even been able to take his suspension correct, as he publicly started working again before his suspension ended. He hasn't been able to sell his team properly... Snyder has done nothing right. Even charging fans to watch all preseason practice, which based on NFL rules, allows other teams scouts to pay money and come attend and that's exactly what all their division rivals did.
