I did a little research, and found several examples of teams getting completely new stadiums when the age of their existing stadium was in the same ballpark (pun intended) as AmFam is now:
Texas Rangers: Played in their old stadium from 1994-2019 - 25 yrs (got a new stadium in 2020)
Atlanta: They only played in Turner Field from 1997-2019 - 22 yrs; the same age as AmFam is now.
Miami Marlins: Their prior stadium only lasted 8 freaking years, from 2012-2020; they got a completely new one in 2021
Minnesota Twins: They only played in the Humpty-dome for 27 yrs before getting a new stadium in 2010
Arizona Diamondbacks: They have been in their current (and only, so far) stadium for 25 years; I mention it because there have been rumblings, negotiations, and much debate in that local area about the team wanting a new stadium, where it should be put, etc...
Just saying, there is precedent for a stadium this new needing (at minimum) something more than 'routine maintenance'.
