I think building the scouting department is the more underrated and not talked about the NFL...

Like how do you even evaluate an outside guy? Do you ask them for old scouting reports? Do you give them brand new film and ask them to scout a guy they don't know? To you get them a year and evaluate them based on that year?

I have no idea how they built that. But yeah, that can be huge, and I would love a documentary on that.


Also, I would love for the NFL to order all NFL teams to take pictures of their Draft big boards. Teams collect the pictures via someone they trust. And the day after the draft, they have to hand them over to the NFL, which hold them for like a decade, and then release them after the decade.


Wouldn't it be interesting to see all the teams that passed on Rodgers had him as the #1 QB, but they just weren't in the QB market that year and grabbed some RB instead.... such as Jon Gruden (then Bucs head coach) PROMISING Rodgers that if he dropped to them, they're selecting him, and then drafted a short career RB I'm the top 5 overall instead.
