If I had to pick one or the other, I'd say it's setting up for the future. If winning less games in 2023 means a better position for 2024, that's a win. So yes, I would love to see things like Joe Barry struggle and lose his job, opening the door for a new DC in 2024.

However, I don't want the team to just lose every game from here on out, which would result in better draft positions and waiver placement priorities.

This is a young team and wins and loses make a difference. If the team loses every game the rest of the season, that impacts the locker room of a young team. I'd like to see the team have some come back wins, have some tough loses, and grow as a team. If the Packers go 7-10, but if they get some big wins like winning in Detroit, maybe a big win at home against the Chiefs, sweep the Bears, etc that would be an acceptable season. The team could go into 2024 knowing they beat some of the best and the only reason they lost is a bad DC and a young team.
