Bakhtiari is absolutely an elite pass blocker when healthy, but he hasn't been able to stay healthy. And we need to take him off the grade list as we get further into the season as it was just one game.


Newman: It'll be interesting to see if they try something different, such as Rhyan, Nijman, or moving Tom in. Of course, hopefully Jenkins will be back soon.

Currently Gary is probably be used as a pass rush specialist, but his pass rush grade is in the elite top 9. But he has 100 less snaps than most the others.

Currently Gary run defense and tackling are poor, but most of the elite pass rushers seem to be low in those areas.

Got to give Nick Bosa, Micah Parsons and Maxx Crosby credit got elite everything basically and Raiders got lucky with Crosby being a 4th rounder. It'd be interesting to see why GMs didn't like him more.

Josiah Deguara is on the team for STs and show the rookies how to prepare, even if he can't execute, he's the veteran in the room.

Also in the one game they use Deguara as a receiver he averaged an average grade. He's not a full time blocking TE, but the hole they have in their office is for a blocker. And I guess they don't trust Kraft or Sims enough in the role either.

Lots of people question his usage of guys, but Dugara as a full time blocker is probably the biggest usage question.


I kinda want they try a two receiver TE option more so teams don't automatically know Dugara is being asked to block every time he's on the field. Though, that does take a WR off the field which might be a better receiving option than Dugara. That or use Nijman as the blocking TE.

This defense scheme helps out the back end, and I think that has freed Rudy Ford up and he's reaping the benefits of it. I think he's a good fit for this scheme with a good pass rush like the Packers have. And whole run stopping is an issue, he's the furthest from it.



Looking at the last four years, looks like Packers can scout receivers very well, but linemen and TEs is a major question mark.


Clark's grade just keeps going further down each year... They need to start looking for replacements. And even if he does bounce back, they could use another DL or two anyways.
