Nijman and Walker played some at both OT spots in preseason.

Looks like
84% of Walker preseason snaps were at LT.
87% of Nijman preseason snaps were at RT.

You want your best pass blockers at OT, so in general, Tom inside could make it easier for an elite edge rusher like Maxx Corby. BUT... benching Newman might also have some advantages.

I know being extremely tall makes it harder to get leverage on the inside, out they put in Nijman to be the run blocking OT for a series or two against the Saints. I feel like Nijman at OG should be just as good or better than Newman, and harder to pass rush him.
