1.25 Two years in a row, the Bills trade up to the #25 draft selection.
1.28 S Nubin
Hafley talked about the importance of a Safety coming up and making a quick tackle, getting the best instinctive Safety that makes the least mistakes will go a long way with that. One of the few Safeties in this draft with a missed tackling percentage under 10%.
2.41 DL Robinson
6'5" 290lb that has shown he can play both DT and DE and Packers use him at both, with a stronger focus at DT. But Packers might mix and match.
2.57 S Bullard
Barely fits into Gute's draftable size standards, Bullard has very good coverage, in 2022 he covered the slot role and in 2023 was more on the backend deep Safety.
3.88 LT Paul
6'7" LT, whom specializes in pass protection with length, but still needs to clean up some footwork issues and get stronger but he shows signs of improvement. I might have him sit a year and learn if others are healthy and then maybe battle for a starting spot year 2.
3.91 CB Hart
Long limb CB that likes press coverage which is rumored to be what the Packers new defensive coordinator likes to do. Better than most in man coverage.
4.126 RB Benson
I'm not certain Benson falls this far but I believe one of the good RBs will. Benson is an athletic bigger back that went on a tear of tackle breaking in 2022.
4.129 DT Lee
Honestly watching Lee sorta reminded me of his former teammate Van Ness, whom was originally a DT as well. Watching Lee's highlights that all seem to come inside with him controlling the B gap and moving to A of needed. Lee is 6'6" 290lb, but I might ask him to put on some more weight and look at him in a NT like role, as power first, followed by quickness is his thing which helps him stop the run. He's not the traditional NT, but the NFL is seemingly getting away from traditional NTs anyways as more and more focus is out on pass rushers.
5.168 IOL Sundell
6'4" Sundell was a multi-year starter at Center before switching to LT for 2023, for a team that runs the ball more often than they pass it. I'm moving him back inside in the NFL, and he plays aggressively. Might need some time adjusting from small college to the NFL, but I think he has all the physical traits to grow. And certainly can play Center as well.
6.203 Slot Brown
He was an outside CB, turned slot CB and I think the Packers keep him there. 6' 200lb a good balance of run stoppage to quick coverage.
6.206 CB Wallace
Starter at UMass for a couple of years before transferring to Michigan in 2023, going from a one win team to the National Champions. Looks like the first half of the season was rough grading but he picked it up in the second half, all while not giving up a single TD all season. Not really sure why he's rated this low, but he might be under 190lbs... that being said his run defense grade is GREAT.
6.216 IOL Bortolini
I didn't think he would drop to this pick, but his pass blocking was very very good even if his run blocking wasn't, and his grade went down, but I wonder if it might be simply because he was forced to play Center due to injury and he simply feels more comfortable at OG. I'd let him focus at OG.
7.243 LB Gant
Played at Ohio State with Packers new defensive coordinator, but wasn't starting so he transferred to Toledo, where he kept improving and dominated and even looked good and got the start at the East-West Shine Bowl. Smaller size, 230lb but he can move and cover.
7.251 T Ezirim
6'5" 325lb, two year starter at RT, first year wasn't good, but second year was great. He got invited to the NFL scouting combine, so he's certainly on the NFL radar. I'm keeping him at RT for now and seeing if he keeps taking jumps up.
