No trade back drafts, as it sounds like Gute will be trading up, I attempted to trade up a couple of times but couldn't get a delay worked out.
25. CB DeJean
Keeping DeJean at CB, as if we're going to the off-man zone, then he seems like a prefect fit at CB.
41. SS Nubin
They want a good tackler and Nubin has the best instincts and the lowest missed tackling percentage of any of the Safeties in this draft.
58. RB Brooks
Gute normally goes offense in Rounds 2 and 3 and Brooks looks like he potentially could be a better Eddie Lacy, at least if he stays healthy.
88. OL Amegadjie (visited Packers)
Can play OT or OG, all the physical potential, but needs to develop, might be able to get on the field sooner at OG.
91. DT Smith (visited Packers)
Smith once was hyped as a future top 10 overall pick, because he's so big, athletic and such a good pass rusher. And in passing situations such as 3rd and long, he still is quite dominant. The problem is, of there is a chance for a run, he's just as equally awfully... as he thinks too much and doesn't know what to do or what he's doing and needs a lot of coaching for how to play the run, but he might be worth it as a 3rd down pass rushing specialist as he grows into the running game.
126. CB Jones (visited Packers)
Was a good not great outside CB, but this final year he got moved to the slot is was great in man coverage and good at playoffs the run, so he'd be focusing in on the slot role first and then outside CB.
169. C Nourzad
Two years starting at RT for Cornell before switching to Penn State where he played at LG then C. Some people absolutely love him and swear he'll be gone in the 3rd or 4th round. He's got the run blocking, but I do worry about his pass blocking, which might limit him to only Center.
202. OG Laumea
I randomly selected an OL, looking into Laumea now, looks like he's been a 4 year starter at RG and RT. Won't be able to stay at OT in the pros. Great drive blocking, needs to stop going too wide when pass blocking, giving up the inside track.
219. DL Lee
Lee is like a very poorman's Van Ness... he's been playing/starting at DT but he's only 280 lbs at 6'5", so he might get moved to DE. He's might be average at everything except with great effort, and can be depth across the entire DL.
245. S Watts
Just picked a Safety, looking into him now. Looks like he's a large physical CB, that everyone agrees will have to move to Safety in the pros, as his feet aren't quick enough with a long stride to keep up in man coverage in the pros. But he's clearly physically enough and has the skill set to make the switch to Safety and should be a good STer right away.
255. LB Watson
Old school LB, that does good as long as he's going forward, in run stopping or blitzing but struggles whenever he's going backwards, such as coverage.
