Because we don't have enough Padded Practices yet...
#24 DE Jack Sawyer
I know, we got a number of edge rushers already, but can you have enough? Also, DE Sawyer has a ton of potential, his game is the power game which clearly the Packers look for in pass rushers, he defense the run better and his pass rush could be improved despite that he's already doing well, so there is room for more growth. Probably doesn't fall this far if it wasn't for a stacked DL draft class.
#56 Trade back, my trade back plan didn't work back as I had hoped. I had hoped to trade back and grab Oregon's RT Ajani Cornelius and one of three stud RBs. But Cornelius was taken at pick #71, one pick before mine, and 4 RBs were taken from 73-79.
#72 LT Wyatt Milum
Lots of snaps the last 3 years, first at RT and then the last two years at LT, and has always been consistent and grade has been going up each year. 6'5" 312. Also claims he trying to learn to play all 5 OL positions to beat help his chances to make it in the pros.
#80 Slot CB Sebastian Castro
So much hype for Iowa's CB Cooper DeJean to potentially be moved to the slot, how about Iowa's CB that has actually been playing the slot? Also scored above 90 (elite score) based on PFF grading. 5'11", 205 lbs, and likes being very physically, though he's very quick, doesn't have the speed to play outside CB, but physical enough to play the dime, and can blitz and cause turnovers.
#88 CB Quincy Riley
Simply put, he gets his hands on a lot of passes knocking then away, and while he's thinner than ideal, he seems to get ball carrier down fairly fast, with quick click and close speed. Probably an outside CB only.
