She ran some tests, then sent me next door to ER, where I ended up staying for four days. My a1C was above 14, and I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Things were kinda dicey there.
Had to go the insulin shots route, with Metformin pills, as well, until my numbers got back in line.
Long story short, no more insulin shots. Pills only. Ozempic shot once a week. No more alcohol, but I'm alive. And two years later, am thriving.
A steady a1C of 5.7. BP was 106/68 last checkup. Weight 188. Cholesterol 124. I'm evidence that you CAN polish a horse turd.
Just needed a little reset, I guess?
