Please explain to me the different requirements between a long snapper and the regular center. Why can't they be interchangeable? It seems that a large percentage of the game we are in shotgun vs under center. I realize the risk if that person got hurt, two factions of the team could suffer. Also I know the center on most teams calls the line protection. Just a question that I have aways wondered about.
