OTOH, he had a nasty habit of disappearing when they desperately needed a hit (especially with runners on base in the late innings). So from a pure baseball production perspective, I'm just not sure what to make of him. Yeah, he had the big HR year, and really pretty good stats overall I guess, but every game I saw when he was up with the game on the line, he struck out.
Looking at the total package, he's not the guy I would give that level of contract to. But someone will...
But Milwaukee will be fine - they have a LOT of young infield talent in the pipeline.
