If teams are smart, that's where he'll end up.
Don't get me wrong, he still has a LOT of ability at QB. The trouble is, his game - the ways he plays when he is at his best - is not well-suited to coming in and lighting the world on fire his first season with a new team, new WR group, etc. He wants WR's to be able to recognize that "if I raise my right eyebrow, it means go long", and "if I turn my head left but look to the right, it means this other thing". But that kind of relationship - what he had with Adams toward the last couple years in GB, and what he had with Nelson before that - takes YEARS to develop. It's just not something you can do by walking onto the field two weeks before the season starts and saying "OK, let's go!!" And he gets SOOOOOOO frustrated when it's not working the way he thinks it should (when WR's don't see the same things he sees, which very few would unless they've been with him for years)... He's just not the type of QB who can come into a new team and hit the ground running - his makeup just doesn't work that way.
Of course, I say that, and now, watch him take whoever it is to a Lombardi trophy...
