Yoop, I'm already loving what they've done...

They have seriously upgraded the interior OL - assuming Jenkins pans out at C. But then, if not, maybe it's Rhyan to C and Jenkins/Banks at G. Even Rhyan at C could be a pretty big upgrade over Myers. I'm assuming they keep Morgan as the future (and maybe 2025 is the future) LT...

The CB they picked up, while not exactly someone who opposing QB's will avoid throwing at, is at least workable. At least they now have three on the roster (Nixon, Valentine, and Hobbs) who won't go out there and look totally lost.

What all this means to me: it's no longer a point where they HAVE TO GET A CB EARLY!!! and THEY DESPERATELY NEED IOL!!! It's something I think you've said before - BG seems to use FA to fill those immediate, gaping holes in the roster so that the draft can be much more BPA and flexible to trade up/down/whatever.

I've mentioned before, at this point I almost think it's a given GB goes DT in R1. But you're right about one thing: if Simmons were to fall and GB got him, you'd better call in a wellness check on me...

I would also love it if they took a new C in r2-3. Then you have Banks/Jenkins at G, the new guy at C, and Rhyan (currently the weakest link) on the bench. I'm not saying "DO THIS OR THEY'RE SCREWED" or anything like that, but can you imagine an OL of Simmons - Banks - Jared Wilson (UGA) - Jenkins - Tom? Good grief! Jacobs would break 3,000 yards, and we could cut Daniel Whelan! And no worries about pass rush when you're scoring 45 per game...

That's a Madden fantasy, and I know... zero chance... but what the heck - LET ME DREAM!!!!
