For me, the immediate without thinking about it answer would be: 2009: B. J. Raji. If you were posting here at the time, you'll recall how big a Raji supporter I was.

2024: Jordan Morgan - I had him in a couple of my mocks ahead of time, but it was usually later. He was someone I had hoped we could get, so I liked the pick, but it felt 'early' to me - I would have had DeJean r1 and Morgan r2... but the way it went, it's questionable whether Morgan would have been there.

Ones I didn't see coming, but saw the pick and went "Wow, that could be a great pick!!"

2009: Matthews - I don't think many of us had given any thought to a second #1... I was actually walking out the door and paused to look at the TV and saw "GB is on the clock" - WTF?!?! And when i learned a bit about the player they took, and coming on the heels of taking my dream NT at #9... I was probably the most excited I've EVER been about the possibilities for the GB defense going forward - remember, this was coming off the stretch of 4 coordinators in 4 years, and only 1 of them being worth anything...
