I know we're all familiar with his name, and is considered maybe the 2nd or 3rd best receiver in the draft. But after I did a bit if a deep dive on him, I kept thinking who does this smallish receiver remind me of?
I then learned that he is 5'11 3/4" and 207 lbs. He has 4.4 timed and even better play speed. Absolutely NOT a slot only guy. The guy he reminded me of was Sterling Sharpe. Almost identical size, instant quicks, great hands, and both pretty ripped. Just watch his highlights. Much better numbers in '23, but QB play was spotty and a quote from a scout was telling - "I think he got bored with that offense. His playing style is like Jerry Jeudy but with Amon-Ra St. Brown’s hands and toughness.” That's one heck of a comp.
Not saying the Pack should take him in the first, but if they did, I wouldn't be disappointed. Yes, I know DL is a priority as well as CB, and depth on the OL, but I do like the idea of an instant playmaker - and he is that. I'm still not sold on the idea of what we have in house right now. Just not.
