Nope. If there's no trade partner, cut him. Don't need the headaches that come with a guy who is only available 7 games a year. I'm sure at least some of their frustration with him was because of those weeks when he was expected to be ready, they would build their defensive coverage schemes for that week expecting him to be ready, and then Sunday rolls around, and oops, he's out again.

Better an average joe who never misses a game, than a head case who is only available 1/3 of the time (and not during the post-season when he is needed most)...
