Assuming you have a RB or TE on the field at all times, the only time you have two slot WRs is when you are in 4 WR sets.

Which means the RB or TE is on the bench ...


Also based on an article, Reed is almost exclusively used as a slot WR, when they go to two WR sets, Reed hasn't gotten more outside snaps.

Also factor in the contracts, it's Watson and Reed whom I believe are going into contract years.


The Packers need outside WRs.
