At his age, for the contract he would command, I'm just not sure.

I mean, on the surface, it's an absolute, 100% instant no-brainer. If you can get a T.J. Watt on your team, the answer is "Yes, Please". He would instantly become the best pass rusher on the team. T.J. Watt and Rashan Gary would obviously be a much more fearsome tandem than Rashan Gary and whoever they currently line up opposite him. I mean, that's not even slightly debatable.


BUT...

Successful pass russ = pressure from inside AND outside. I'm not sure how much T.J. Watt (or any upgrade on the edge) would help the overall pass rush if they don't do something about the interior DL.

Much as it sounds crazy, I'm going to say pass at this point. Age, contract, and I think it would do more for the pass rush if they invested those resources on the inside...
