If the Packers stay at #23, and he is still avialable, Maxwell Hairston has a really good chance to be the pick. I believe he will be, unless someone unthinkable falls and I think they will choose him over any interior defensive lineman, any receiver, and most any edge that is slated to fall in their range.
Not saying it's what I'd do - it's what a think Gutey does. Not even saying it's good or bad.
He meets every measureable (and he was reportedly over 190 at his pro day - not 183) He wasn't just a good tester - he was basically elite. Underreported was that he battled a shoulder injury that is now not considered a long term kind of thing. It hampered his tackling in a big way. But look at his '23 season he was terrific.
Course, I've been wrong once or twice.
