Which DT on the roster does this statement apply to?
What I see on the roster is Clark (sorry, but at this point he's perilously close to being JAG), Wyatt (seems like he's had a stretch or two each year where he seemed primed to take that next step, but then... joined LVN back on the milk carton for another long stretch), Wooden (who from what I've been reading has just about played himself off the roster), and... a whole lot of rookies.
I mean, even if Clark suddenly becomes the Clark of five years ago, and even if Wyatt suddenly becomes Wyatt for 17 games a year instead of 8, that's still only two guys.
And you yourself have said that DT is a TOUGH position for a rookie to come in and impact - they often need at least a year of NFL-level strength/conditioning.
So.... where is the hope for any improved production from the DT position this year? Because they surely need it if they're going to make any hay in January...
Please - enlighten me.
