That comes as a surprise to me, I wonder if they knew but we're keeping it quiet until after the draft, or if the Saints (who are cap strapped) told Carr (who's injured) that they were going to release him, and he decided to retire instead.


But the Saints have three QBs from the last three drafts, a 4th, then 5th and now a 2nd rounder.

Maybe could use a veteran, especially a mobile veteran 😜 (half kidding, I don't think Willis is going anywhere) but since they're cap strapped and rebuilding... my guess is they stick with the young QBs.

Or if they do make a move, maybe go get Kenny Pickett from the Browns, who was with the head coach last year in Philadelphia. As the Browns now have too many QBs. But they have two vets and vet rookies.
