- Gary went from 2 his first year, to 5 his second. More than doubled, and that was with missing a game in year 2. Vs. LVN going from 4 to 3 - down by 1.
- I vividly recall a high number of plays in year 2 (and year 1 for that matter) where Gary was right there, but failed to 'finish' and make the tackle. I recall thinking (if not posting) that Gary needed to start making more of those plays. Which he did in year 3 and beyond. But even those first two years, he was regularly found being disruptive in the backfield. Much more regularly than Van Ness, anyway, who rarely (from what I see) ever makes it past the line of scrimmage...
