I agree, I think most of the saved cap space will go towards future years as we were looking tight in future years.


But CB Rasul Douglas or Asante Samuel Jr. will certainly be options that the Packers might look at. That being said, Packers might not want to bring them in if they might be backups.

And Gute likes having space to let guys develop and they're trying to develop Valentine.


Also, if we're looking at ST depth, I'd be interested in CB Robert Rochell... though there has to be a story there. As it seems like Rochell is an elite gunner for STs coverage but 5 teams in less than 5 years, and that's after 2 years with the Rams who used a 4th round picks on him. And 2 years on the Packers PS. So there has to be some reason teams keep moving on from cheap ST gunner so quickly, but he's available and should be cheap.
