Right off the bat, let me say, this is just me reading between the lines and making assumptions, when there might not be anything actually there...


But to me, it almost seemed like Matt LaFleur was hoping that Offensive Coordinator Adam Stenavich got signed by another team, either as a head coach or an offensive coordinator with play calling duties (usually for a defensive minded head coach) which is considered a promotion.

Part of the reason seemed to be because they had Luke Getsy on staff and ready to fill him in there for the long term if the position opened up. Which it didn't, and so the Packers gave Getsy the title of Senior assistant.

Also, now the Packers also have Nathaniel Hackett back on staff, though supposedly he'll be working with the defense, as the offensive mind guy to give them the opposite perspective which the Packers have liked doing in recent years.



I guess I'm just curious, if all where FAs, which would LaFleur hire first and the highest ranking. Also, if offensive coordinator position did become available next off season, who would be be asking to fill it next, or who would be the backup Offensive coordinator position if Stenavich wasn't available.

Also, if Adam Stenavich gets no offers, then how will be trying to keep Getsy and Hackett around for the long haul.
