The Packers coaching staff seems to want to rotate the DE in the games keeping them fresh and energized for crunch time.
Van Ness has played a lot of snaps. If he really was a bust, or in a make or break season, he would not be on the field. The coaches are not going to send him out there repeatedly if he is hurting the teams ability to win.
He is and has been a large part of the DLine rotation....
