As long as they're ready to go for the season, I actually don't mind the stars and important backups missing the preseason.

Of course, will they be ready for the season if they miss the preseason? That probably depends on the player, coach and team.


I don't love important games right away.


Lions and then right away Commanders on Thursday... only possible good thing is that they're both home games.


But then 4 of the next 5 games are road games (with an early bye week in there)
