My thoughts, for what it's worth.

First, the few positives:

Enagbare and Wooden looked like they were making the roster decisions more difficult.

Cox and Brooks also made plays, which was nice to see.

I didn't see Jordan Morgan get blown up really badly. He has a ways to go, and he may never get there, but overall, I felt like he held his own reasonably well.

But the biggest positives: the game is over. And it's only the first preseason game, so there's time to get better.

And now, the rest of the story:

As I posted during the game, do any WR's even want to make the team? The repeated dropped passes would suggest not.

As Ry mentioned, for a guy on the bubble of making/not making the team, Hardman did himself no favors.

In particular, I watched LVN very closely (well, as closely as you can from watching on TV). Hearing all the stuff about how he's having such a great camp, I was looking for... something. And I saw... mostly the same things that made me put him on a milk carton. Pass rush straight into the defender, get stuck like super glue, and that's that. Does this guy have another pass rush move? At all? What happened to the guy they were glowing about in all the camp practice reports?

But it wasn't just LVN by a long shot. The opening drive on defense (when it was 1s vs 1s) looked as bad as the worst defense under Barry. The Jets must have been running the Borg offense - our "resistance" was futile. The whole DL in particular did absolutely nothing - blown off the ball in the run game, and zero pressure in the passing game. It's a real head scratcher when you keep reading reports about LVN having a great camp, Gary is getting sacks regularly in camp, heck even Clark and Wyatt have been mentioned during practice reports... and then they come out with that kind of a performance during the game. Conventional wisdom is that you play like you practice. These guys sure didn't.

Overall, just seemed like the whole team generally didn't want to play football last night. Like they were just sleepwalking out there. That is concerning.
