This feels like a "fix what's broken" kind of move... as in "we saw what happened vs. Philly, and it doesn't look like we've done enough to make sure it doesn't happen again".

Don't know anything about this particular player, and you might say 'it's only a 6'... but as hard as it usually is to pry a draft pick out of Gutekunst's hands, I think it takes on a bit more significance.
