It depends on the AI

AI is just a computer, it's as smart or as stupid as the resources it has and the inputs it's giving on how to handle things.

Like Elon Musk's AI (which Musk is from South Africa) basically says all kinds of crap about South Africa and especially it's government, because, and citing that crap as facts because it was told to.


Basically AI is just a learning tool, the big problem is what you have it learn, as there is a lot more crap out there than good learning material and how do you get it to focus on only the good stuff.


I assume it's like raising a kid, and how you don't have full control over what the kid does or doesn't learn.

Like you might think the kid is safe as Aunt Mary's house, but the kid learned a new four letter word after Uncle James after Uncle James badly stubbed his toe.



In other words, it's like people, and no two AI's are the exact same. Some are brilliant, and some are idiots, and also it might depend on the subject or the medium, such as text vs a picture, etc.
