What does a washed-up old QB have to do with this? Parsons isn't even CLOSE to as worn out as Hadl was at that point. He's only 26 years old, for God's sake. Hadl was 34, and had the living hell beat out of him by that point (as most QB's did in those days).

All that said: the price in picks (2 1's plus a 2 plus another pick) seems pretty steep. But if they would take next year's 1 plus LVN (plus maybe some other, lower pick), I would do it in a heartbeat. But I don't think that would get it done.

And while this rumor does seem to be gaining at least a bit of traction, I think there's a less than 1% chance of Parsons playing anywhere but Dallas this upcoming season.
