Parson has played both LB and DE, and Packers are trying to run an aggressive 4-3 with 3-4 like looks, and I assume Parson will be the tweener role that's LB that gets blitzed a lot.
So maybe a lineup like
DL: Van Ness, Wyatt, Brooks, Gary
LB: Parson, Walker, Cooper
With Van Ness sort of playing a DE/DT type tweener role and Parson playing a LB/DE role behind him.
Yeah, I'm not sure about this groups ability to stop the run, but they should be able to get after the passer.
And I have loved Clark, but he wasn't worth that last contract they gave him, and we're going to need to get out of it soon anyways, so that's sort of two birds with one rock, just a year earlier than expected.
