My understanding is that all teams basically game planned for Parsons and with the Packers supposedly changing up what they do and adding a LB/DE tweener element, for which Parsons should be absolutely perfect for, I think yes it does make the Packers more of a contender as they'll have been pass rush and better defensive speed, and chess pieces.



The Packers also potentially made an important weakness (stopping the run) even weaker by losing Kenny Clark. And how well will the Packers do at stopping the run now will be a major question.


Speaking of which, the Packers (among other teams) would often avoid Parsons and their great pass defense simply by running the ball on the Cowboys absolutely horrible run defense. Making their great pass defense less of a factor.

And now the Packers might have to be concerned with something similar happening.


But far it has seemed like defensive play caller Hafley is GREAT at making adjustments and play calling which should help.
