Panthers voted LS J.J. Jansen as one of the team captains, why am I noting this?

Jansen was an undrafted FA find by Ted Thompson all the way back in 2008, and he's STILL playing.

In 2009, with multiple healthy LS now, Packers traded Jansen to the Panthers for a conditional pick, which turned out to be the first 7th round picks of the 2011 draft. Which was the traded for players that are long gone already.


Just a little trip down memory lane. I get surprised to still see his name. He'll be turning 40 around the NFC Championship time.
