The entire front is playing at a very high level. Wyatt , Brooks and Wooden are surprising a lot of people.
This is not to disparage Clark and Slaton but those two are not the best fits for this defensive system.

What’s exciting is a coaching staff that designed and planned for this defense now getting to see who does what best in it.

How they are crowding the LOS and dropping out into various zones using different personnel and keeping their eyes on the QB has stymied two playoff level offenses.

I think we are seeing Hafley’s concept of when asked zone or man ?
His answer we’ll be in man until we aren’t, kind of plays out, DB’s starting closer to the line and working zones.

They did a replay commenting on the coverage showing from the end zone.
There were a lot of faces looking at that QB in close proximity to anyone out in a route.

They need to average 4.5. And I am imagining this Defensive front going against less than playoff level Olines.

The DE rotation looks like the best in the NFL. How many teams have a five player rotation and the ability to get their best rushers on the field together using those players in multiple gaps.

And of course what’s happening up front shows up in the defensive back field.
Another area of the defense that is deep and flexible.
Williams doesn’t play like a 2nd year Safety and Valentine is showing his 3rd year.
Nixon is locked into playing outside and earned a 90.7 grade second highest on the defense. Parsons 91.3.

The Packers have created pressure on 41 of 95 drop backs, it’s working.
