The only reason I hesitate to agree re: the team being "much more the first two week team than last Sunday" is that many (most?) of the issues that popped up Sunday are the same issues that have plagued this team for YEARS. Penalties. Mistakes. Generally undisciplined play. Special teams that are 'special' for all the wrong reasons. And by the way, even during those two dominant wins, they still had a lot of penalties. It's been this whole year (heck, including the preseason), and it's been ongoing for years. The reaction isn't just to one bad game. It's to a coaching staff who thus far has shown themselves unable to resolve this problem, that has been going on for a very long time now, and has cost the team dearly.
At some point, when the issue is the same issue that they've had ongoing for this long, I think it's fair to wonder whether this coaching staff, with these players, will ever be able to correct it. You would think that those issues are correctable... but then, why haven't they? Speaking specifically to the penalties issue, it seems like a weekly thing in his pressers - they have to do better at getting the penalty situation fixed... and yet, year in and year out, they are among the most penalized teams in football. So I think it's fair to, at minimum, look at LaFleur and the coaching staff and basically say "WTF?!?!?!"
