Special teamer LB Nick Niemann was placed on injured reserve with a pectoral injury.

To take his place, the Packers have signed Special teamer LB Kristian Welch to take his place.


Packers have also elevated DL Arron Mosby from the PS, I believe that makes this his 3rd and final (for the Packers) elevation until the playoffs. If the Packers want to play Mosby anymore, they would have to sign him to the main roster.

I'm still very unclear if another team could use said player for 3 additional elevation if he were to go to a different teams PS.

But Mosby has mainly been used as a STer. I'm a tad surprised they didn't sign Mosby to the main roster and just elevate Welch for a couple of weeks instead. While Mosby plays DE, he's basically a DE/LB tweener and they have been calling him up for STs instead of Welch.
