Did not see the game either, but listened to Wayne/Larry for Q4, and then listened to a good portion of the post game on 620. Mark Tauscher described them as "not a great team, but a good team that can play great, but can also play really crappy". I think that sums it up as well as anyone can.

I agree on the 4th and 8 call - that's actually about when I turned the game on, and when I heard it was 4th and 8 and they were going for it, my first thought was "Oh, the game is almost over"... when I heard there was still 10 minutes plus left, I was absolutely stunned. WAY too early to be going for 4th and 8.

Finally, if Carolina can rush for 160+, what could Saquon Barkley and the Eagles do? I guess we'll find out in 8 days. But I most definitely don't blame Hafley for the run defense - I blame Gutekunst. Not for getting rid of Clark - I felt like he was overrated/on his last legs anyway. But even when we thought we still HAD Clark, I (and some others) were still super-concerned about having the horses to defend the run. Without Clark, we got even more concerned. Turns out, we were right. Seriously needed to get some help for the DL, whether in the draft or in FA prior to the season. Mark this down: come playoff time, this issue is going to cost them the season. Might still be time, but it doesn't sound like anything is forthcoming...
