I was out on the river on the boat during the game and watched it this morning. From all the “venting going on in here yesterday I was expecting a horror show. Here’s my take, I think they played it right, JLove had a bum shoulder and I think they wanted to limit how much he got her. The Vikings run defense isn’t that great and they were able to move the ball, yes the 3rd and 1 calls absolutely suck! But this was the perfect game for them to lean into the run and try a few lineups to see if they could find something that would help them through the final push and into the post season. The way the D played in the second half along with the Vikings history of playing hard to the end I think just putting point up and forcing JJ to throw the ball made sense. Just my three or four cents worth, now it’s on to the Lions. Go Pack Go.
