One of the last updates I've seen (on injuries players in general) suggested that the Packers have zero interest in activity the players on the IR unless their is a need on the 53 man roster.


Which is to suggest that even if the IRed/PUP players get fully healthy, the Packers aren't bringing them back unless the 53 man roster needs someone at their position, and DE seems extremely deep, so I'm guessing Oliver's season is over even if he was 100% healthy.


Also, if a guy spends their entire season on the PUP, then that year doesn't count as one of their 4 junior years, before becoming a veteran, so DE Oliver and OL John Williams might need to play 4 more seasons, not counting this year to become a veteran. Of course, that was under a previous CBA, but I'm assuming it's in this one too.
