
It would be interesting as what that would that mean for Russ Ball, as it was everyone under the GM, and then switched to a three prong approach with GM, HC (Head Coach) and whatever title Ball had, all reporting to the President.
Of course, Ball had been 100% giving ball salary guarantees to ANYONE, and I think that put the Packers at a disadvantage with UDFA, as basically the entire rest of the league went to guaranteeing some UDFA base salary (basically a signing bonus) except maybe three teams, including the Packers.
Of course, they finally broke that two years ago...
But Ball's current title is Executive Vice President/Director of Football Operations
I don't believe anyone wanted to be under Ball, and some even thought he might get the GM role, before there was supposedly a hell no, from others and supposedly that power struggle might be what lead to the new three prong approach.
I don't think Gute and LaFleur would have any issues with each other, the question would be how Ball fits into all of this.
