If I remember correctly, other teams used to say Rodgers probably wouldn't work out because supposedly Montana & Young were the only back to back franchise QBs in history (though I assume they meant recently history).

But Montana and Young then Favre and Rodgers are the only two back to back hall of framers QBs I can think of.

Not sure Love is going to get to that level, but he's better than average starter.

But 49ers had Montana, Young than Jeff Garcia, that's the closest* know about to the Packers current run.



Googling it, the Internet also bring up Colts Peyton Manning followed by Andrew Luck and Patriots Drew Bledsoe followed by Tom Brady.


But do you count those?

Technically in 2011, Colts had Peyton Manning hut due to neck surgery, he didn't play... but if you do count that, then Colts had Jim Harbaugh, Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck. Though also questions if you count Harbaugh as a Franchise QB, and if Luck played long enough, but no arguments that he was a franchise QB.
