2. Outside Corner. Though the Gannon defense does a good job hiding below average permitter play, this is still a glaring need for this team. Nixon, Valentine, and Hobbs just won't cut it. And let's be honest, they can run as much zone as they want between the 20s but once a team is in the redzone every defense becomes a man defense.
3. Linebacker. I don't believe the Packers will resign Quay Walker and I don't believe Isiah McDuffie or Tyron Hopper are good enough to run alongside Cooper. Green Bay either needs to move Cooper to the Mike position, or bring in another true Mike LB.
4. Best Offensive Lineman Available (BOLA). It's like BPA but with the big uglies. The Packers could use competition at LT, competition at LG, potentially a starter at C, competition at RG, and a spot starter at RT until Zach Tom is healthy. Yes a starter at C is needed, but I'm not reaching for a lesser C by passing up on a better graded LT.
5. A YAC Pass Catcher. I don't care if it's a running back, a tight end, or a wide receiver. When Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed went down, the offense sputtered without anyone who could really produce after the catch. As of right now, here are the pass catchers under contract for 2027: Josh Jacobs and Marshaun Lloyd entering the final years of their deals, Matthew Golden and Savion Williams. Yes Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft are likely to get extensions, but they need more playmakers at all the skill positions.
