I think the biggest argument you can make against the quality of Stenovich's coaching is very simple:

How many interviews has he had to move up? Not even to a head coach position - even to an offensive coordinator position where he would be the play caller?

Hafley comes in... does a good job... and in two years, he's a head coach. How long has Stenovich been in this position??

If he was at all highly thought of in the coaching ranks, we'd at least be hearing his name mentioned as a possible candidate for at least some of the tons of openings (particularly this past year when it seemed like there were an abnormally high number of head coaches fired)...
