A $17M cap hit on a starting EDGE player is nothing. Packers will go into 2027 knowing who their two starters at EDGE will be. Is he a great starter? No. Is he a terrible starter? No.
His PFF grade of 75.5 last year was 27th among all EDGE defenders.
I think the Packers hope would be for LVN to continue to progress in 2026, then they work out a contract extension for him prior to 2027.
