Personally, I think the starter list should be the nickel packages as basically NFL teams on average run a 4-2 nickel package like 80 to 85 percentage of the time.
The only reason I can think that the NFL still has the 3-4 and 4-3 listed as the starting packages is to get fans to argue online about the difference and which one is better, etc etc, and keep them somewhat confused, which keeps people talking more.
I find it interesting they assume TE Kraft will be healthy, and mentioned it, but then don't list a backup, should he not be healthy, as that might be one of the Packers biggest weak areas right now, the TE backups, as Musgrave often quickly get demoted after getting chances to play.
But they didn't make that same healthy assumption with DE Parsons.
I think the TE and DE battles, on who is going to start or be the top backups might be the most interesting position battles we got right now. Also maybe RT, but Tom is supposed to be ready to go post his surgery, but we'll see.
Plus Kicker battle.
As for NT, I think by default that will be Hargraves. He probably won't love it, but he accepted it last year with the Vikings, and it gets us Hargraves and Wyatt on the field at the same time. Our best two DTs.
When we go to the 3-4, it depends on the down and distance, but either add Brooks or Brinson at 3-4 DE, or if it's short distance, then maybe add one of the true NT in Ford or Stackhouse and kicking Hargraves over the the 3-4 DE. But usually that's less than 20% of the snaps.
