Here's a list of guys who are either on the last year of their contract, or their contract is structured in such a way that they may become a cap casuality after the season.

In other words, here're the guys who have ALOT to play for in 2026

QB Tyrod Taylor. Signed a one year deal. Looking to get more opportunity in 2027.
RB Josh Jacobs. Packers could save $13M in cap space if they cut him before 2027.
RB Marshawn Lloyd. If he can't stay healthy, he's done.
WR Skyy Moore. Signed a one year deal. Looking for a bigger role in 2027.
The entire TE room. Everyone is on a one year deal.
OL Darian Kinnard. He signed another one year deal. He wants to become a starter.
OL Travis Glover and Jacob Monk. Both have two years left on their rookie deals.

EDGE Lukas Van Ness. He's the EDGE1 to start the season with two years under contract. Lot to prove.
EDGE Brenton Cox and Arron Mosby. Both are on one year deals.
IDL Devonte Wyatt. Playing on his fifth year option.
IDL Karl Brooks. Playing on his last year of his rookie deal.
IDL Javon Hargrave. Packers save $10M if they cut him before 2027.
LB Zaire Franklin. Packers save $9M if they cut him before 2027.
CB Keisean Nixon and Carrington Valentine. Both are on the last year of their deals.
CB Benjamin St Juste. Packers save $5M if they cut him before 2027.
S Xavier McKinney. Packers save $10M if they cut him before 2027. More likely to get an extension.


Obviously not all these guys are going to get cut. But you know how we've talked about how the Packers have a ton of draft picks in 2027? They may need all those picks.
